Tora Endestad Bjørkheim

Tora Endestad Bjørkheim (b. 1986) has a BA and MA from The Art Academy of Bergen. Her own works explore the textile crafting techniques’ potential to create and maintain both emotional and social spaces. Her works are both a form of image production and a production of partially functional objects, where the aim is to create dispacements in the relation between what is functional, and something more related to visual qualities of an object. Henceforth, she seeks to create a bodily and emotional awareness, within and around the exhibition itself.
